Growing Griffith 2030 is a strategic plan which brings the City's vision into existence. While Growing Griffith 2030 is a document that Council is required to prepare under the Local Government Act 1993, it is not a document solely for Griffith City Council. It is a plan for all who live and work within the Griffith local government area to create a sustainable, thriving community.

Our Leadership Vision: "Griffith City Council staff and elected representatives will act as a conduit between the community and other tiers of government to lobby and advocate for the delivery of services to the local community. Council, with assistance drawn from community input, will co-ordinate those responses to ensure that adequate resources and services are available to make certain the community's goals are achieved."

Our Development Vision: "Griffith has a strong, diverse and continually evolving local economy that draws on but is not completely reliant upon an agricultural base. Our community provides opportunities for its young people to pursue their chosen career and education options at a local level, while attracting skilled and professional workers from other areas."
